If a character has an item/trinket that boosts the value of certain items/pickups, it will only apply to them.Items that increase Devil Room chance will help everyone earn them, but one character taking red heart damage will hurt everyone's chances at earning them. All players can affect Devil Room chance in all the normal ways, and all players will feel the effects of anything that changes it.Enemies will target any players that are alive at random. There is also a special set of completion marks for Online Co-Op, that are blue for Normal Mode, and Purple for Hard Mode. All characters will earn completion marks on their post-it notes and their associated achievements after completing their required objectives, regardless of how much they participated. When a Boss Room is cleared, all dead players will respawn with half a heart (depending on what character they are playing). They can still flip switches on the ground and shoot tears, although they will deal 0.5 damage. These babies cannot fly (unless the character has an inherent flight ability, like The Lost or Azazel), aggro enemies, pick up items, or use any active items, cards, or pills they're holding. Players who die will turn into small ghost babies upon death. If the item is destroyed (such as via Abyss, Eternal D6, Tainted Cain, Void etc.), no extra items will spawn after it.Any item pedestals spawned in Boss Rooms will have this mechanic replacement items will always be from the Boss Room item pool, regardless of how they were spawned.Boss Rooms drop an extra item for every extra player when the original item is taken, the other items will spawn afterward.Check the Isaac wiki for full details.Certain changes are made to the game whenever multiple player characters are present. Things like "debug 3" for infinite health, "debug 8" for infinite active item charges, and "debug 10" to instantly kill every enemy, are extremely helpful. However, most other commands should be untouched, so you can use the console to give you things that make unlocking the rest of the achievements a lot easier. I'll say again, the achievement command doesn't work in Repentance. I'm also getting all the Easter Egg run modifiers (typing in "eggs") because I'm wacky. Personally I'm just using this to unlock Cracked Crown (typing in "achievement 336"), but ONLY because the actual achievement is glitched. Enter the command "achievement *" to unlock everything. Once the debug console is enabled, go in the game, start a run, and press the tilde key (~) to open it. Go to the options file (C:\Users\YOURNAME\Documents\My Games\Binding of Isaac Repentance\options.ini is the default location), find "enabledebugconsole" and set the value to 1. To disable it, just disable your mods in the in-game mod menu with Tab. By downloading and using a mod, the debug console will automatically be enabled. To do this just close your game, find a mod and click Subscribe, and open it again. Then you need to get a mod, any mod, from the Steam workshop. This allows mods to be used without disabling achievements. I'm not sure if using the save file unlocks the Steam achievements, but you can try of you'd like.įirst you need to beat the Mom boss fight WITHOUT mods. I'm not sure though, so if you want to risk it, be my guest.Īlso, if you want a 100% save for Repentance but don't really care about Steam achievements, it's best to just look one up online. Rather, I think the AB+ save would overwrite the Rep save. That being said, this method is best used for a FRESH save file, because trying to transfer an altered AB+ save to an alter Rep save doesn't sound like it would merge the two. This should unlock all of the achievements up to AB+. You can use the command on an AB+ save file and transfer that save to Repentance. I'm editing the post again instead of deleting it because the command still works in Afterbirth+. Rather than remove the old method from my post, I'll just add the new one.Įdit 2, WAAAAY overdue (Jan 24 2023): It seems the achievement command was removed in Repentance since launch. I highly recommend you play the game at a normal pace, but I know some people want to have everything from the start.Įdit: Apparently it's a bit different to get the debug console between Afterbirth+ and Repentance. There is a command that unlocks everything in the entire game, so you don't need to play 200 hours to unlock everything.ĭoing this command unlocks ALL STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS as well so do it at your own risk. Mods are back, and so is the debug console. Attention anyone who wants to buy Isaac and get started with a 100% save file!
